The fully RTITB and JAUPT accredited trainers will work with you to ensure every course is completed before the deadline and most importantly each Driver CPC course will be carried out at a time to suit you. That might be early morning, evening, weekends or weekdays whichever works best for you.

What is Driver CPC Training?

The Driver CPC is for LGV and PCV drivers who drive professionally in the UK. The driver CPC courses are designed to improve the knowledge and skills of professional drivers throughout their working life and are a requirement of the EU Directive 2003/59.

Driver CPC is a continuous periodic training and each driver must complete 35 hours of training every 5 years.

When is the driver CPC deadline?

The Driver CPC deadline is September 2013 for PCV drivers and September 2014 for LGV drivers. VOSA released a report in September 2011 stating that less than 1% of all professional drivers had completed the driver CPC training and warned of a bottleneck that could lead to thousands of vehicles having to be parked up until the drivers can get through the training.

Our CPC courses are the most flexible in the region and can be delivered at our training centre just off the A1 near Newcastle upon Tyne, at your premises (subject to approval) or at another prior agreed location which has suitable facilities.
